Zepp, the world-class concert and event venue will open its first Malaysian branch in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Bintang City Center.
Previously working at BIG BOX Singapore, the first network of cinemas in Japan may have closed in 2019, but plans to open in Southeast Asia next year have been announced.
Zepp’s latest venture will be their 11th event venue, after nine outlets in Japan and one in Taiwan. This particular venue offers the same top-notch facilities that have become synonymous with the global Zepp brand: the 2,500-seat event space is expected to house eight VIP boxes as well as fully furnished private lounges and seating areas.
Ultimately, the state-of-the-art large hall, which spans 6,500 square meters, would serve as an alternative to usually seated theaters and would be able to host all kinds of events, including standing concerts and fashion shows, at Esports tournaments and even martial arts performances.
Akira Uehara, the president of Zepp Hall Network Inc makes the following statement: “Zepp has come a long way since 1998. What started as a place of artist support in Japan has now grown into a company that provides solutions for various industries and events, from corporate conferences , car shows or weddings. “
“Our international expansion is also another way to help event industries around the world deliver a one-stop solution for any mid-sized event. We are extremely happy to launch Zepp Kuala Lumpur this year. This brand new event hall will serve as a cultural exchange center between Malaysia and Japan.
Zepp Kuala Lumpur will officially launch in the second quarter of 2022.
