Rangers fans have sent an alternative to Sevilla as the eight-hour party venue promises a party for the ages

Rangers fans traveling to Sevilla next week have been treated to a Glasgow-style party to watch their side in the Europa League final.

There will likely be several thousand flights to Spain without tickets, with just 9,500 tickets available inside the 43,833-capacity Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium.

This led to a desperate scramble for even a place to take the game after an appeal from UEFA that Rangers fans should not make the trip if they were not attending the game.

This will fall on deaf ears as discussions continue over whether fan zones are a viable option.

Spanish events company Giglon, however, has announced that it will hold its own carnival to host the Europa League showpiece.

Entitled La Fiesta de Glasgow en Sevilla (Glasgow’s party in Seville), it will be an opportunity for fans to “enjoy the real Glasgow party”.

Entry will cost just under £30 and includes four basic drinks, music, MCs, a 120m screen to see the match live, plus “eight hours of continuous fun”.

The proceedings will begin at the Auditorio Rocío Jurado – around five minutes from the Sevilla stadium – around 5 p.m. Spanish time.
