NDLEA Raids Abuja Party Hall, Arrests Organizers & Others

Agents from the National Drug Enforcement Agency raided a party venue in the Asokoro area of ​​the Federal Capital Territory and arrested individuals.

Agency spokesperson Femi Babafemi confirmed the development of The punch Thursday morning.

According to Babafemi, the party organized by three ladies took place on Wednesday evening.

Although Babafemi did not confirm the number of suspects arrested, a Twitter user who was present at the event at the time of the arrest confirmed that over a hundred people had been arrested.

The user who tweeted via his personal Twitter account, @Ezioimmauel, said around 100 had been arrested.

He tweeted: “(We are) at the police station right now. (I) was at a 4/20 party in Asokoro and they broke it. Asokoro, Abuja. We (are) hundreds of us in detention right now. Everyone is always taken into account, I think.

Confirming the arrest, Babafemi said, “We arrested young people who were organizing a hemp party in Abuja. In addition to the party, it’s the launch of a new drink. The party was hosted by three ladies. They are in our custody. We will issue a statement on the incident shortly.
