The brand behind one of the Portland area’s most popular outdoor concert halls will open a new outdoor stage next summer.
Today, McMenamins announced that she will be hosting live music performances at the Grand Lodge in Forest Grove from June 2022. Shows will run until October.
About 25 miles west of Portland, the majestic brick-built Masonic and Eastern Star lodge has been remodeled, in McMenamins style, into an original 90-room hotel with three bars, two restaurants, a pool, spa and a Movie room.
The property can now add a “stage” to this list and can accommodate up to 3,000 attendees on its lawns.
The concert series, titled McMenamins Grand Lodge Concerts in the Grove, will not mark the property’s first time performing. Over the years, the expansive tree-lined campus has hosted the Sundown Grand Ol ‘Country Festival and the American Music Festival. But the new scene, which has yet to be announced, is expected to make McMenamins’ Forest Grove location a highly sought after destination, on par with Edgefield in Troutdale.
So while our most recent vaxx summer may be over before it really starts, you can now start dreaming about the sweaty pleasures next year might contain, which now includes an additional place from where rejoice for a five song reminders.
