A party venue was raided by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency officers who raided a party venue in the Asokoro region of the Federal Capital Territory.

According to agency spokesman Femi Babafemi, who confirmed the development, some people were arrested during the raid, Punch Newspaper reports.

He revealed that the party was hosted by three ladies. He did not confirm the number of suspects arrested.

However, a Twitter user who was present at the event at the time of the arrest revealed that over a hundred individuals had been arrested.

The user who tweeted via his personal Twitter account, @Ezioimmauel, said around 100 had been arrested.

He tweeted: “(We are) at the police station right now. (I) was at a 4/20 party in Asokoro and they broke it. Asokoro, Abuja. We (we are) hundreds in detention at the moment. Everyone is always taken into account, I think.
