A Weekend in the Hat: Live Performances Scheduled for the Aggieville Concert Hall

The Hat, a music venue in Aggieville, has two shows scheduled for this upcoming weekend. On Thursday, November 18, Aaron Watson will perform on location, with Jenna Paulette opening the show. Then on Friday, November 19, Tanner Usrey will perform with Them Dirty Roses. The Hat is expecting a weekend full of music and fun for everyone.

“I’m really excited to have Aaron, Tanner and Them Dirty Roses: it should be two fun nights of music,” said Ryan Platt, member of The Hat’s management team. “We’re expecting big crowds, and we’re really excited to be putting on big shows again.”

The Dirty Roses have played with Tanner Usrey before and can’t wait to join them again.

“Audiences can be ready for a rowdy rock & roll spectacle,” the members of Them Dirty Roses said in a collective statement. “We are friends with [Tanner Usrey] and his entire team, so having him on this bill means the party got bigger.

Both bands are excited about loud and wild crowds and can’t wait to play The Hat.

“We played [at The Hat] last semester, and we loved it there, Usrey said. “I know they get rowdy there. We have new songs that we are going to try, and yeah, it’s fun. I’m super excited to be back, especially with Them Dirty Roses, they’re cool.

Them Dirty Roses wants fans to know they’re ready to party in Manhattan.

“The crowd interaction was amazing, just having a room full of people singing and singing your songs to you, and they’re thrilled you were there,” Usrey said. “That’s what we love, and that’s why we do it.”

Both shows are scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., with tickets $20 for Thursday’s show and $12 for Friday’s show.

“We do a lot of Texas music, and a lot of people associate that with country, but there’s a heavy rock edge to a lot of the shows we do, so there’s something for everyone,” Platt said. . “It’s a great vibe and a great party. We feel like we’re bringing in some of the best national touring artists that are touring the country, and it’s a great time to get to Aggieville, enjoy the show, and hang out. time with friends.

Upcoming shows include Austin Mead on December 4, Pecos and the Rooftops on February 5, and Colby Kooper on March 10.

“Spring 2022 also has a lot to offer,” Platt said. “It’ll be all your favorite regulars – a few new acts too – but it’s going to be packed.”
